Eyes scare from a pumpkin’s head

In honor of autumn happenings and spooky stories of scarecrows, I give you today’s daily haiku! And here is a freebee short poem for you:

In the field, with haunting eyes, stands the gourd over his prize. With a caw they come but none would dare, to sweep the fields, be warned, beware.
