The lightning flashes

Silence, then thunder crashes

Rain sweeps the parched land

Southern California gets some much needed rain. Accompanied by a celestial light show!! And before anyone says anything I know the image is not Southern California but still it shows the appropriate elements that correspond with today’s haiku.
